Be engaged

Be watching. Be listening. Be ready to respond. How can I expect to know what God is doing if I am just casually present? You know that moment when you are in the room, you hear the voices around you but pay no attention to what is being said. Perhaps you hear just enough to know they are talking about their children, or their jobs, or the weather. This is not how we are to be in the presence of God. If you are a believer, then He is always present.
